Handmade by the artist in Gifu 岐阜, Japan exclusively for SYNONYM; item located in Nagoya 名古屋, Japan. “アンテナを張る”, literally translated into ‘keeping your antenna up’ – imbued with such idea, in this series of works Yajima created for the presentation, inspired by the traditional Oribe-yaki 織部焼 the artist nurtured a family of sculptural potteries including Koukishin-Kun and Kyoumishin-Kun 興味心くん which has never been witnessed in the history of Mino 美濃 potteries.
